For the quant yet biting comedy stylings of Joe Lycett check out next month’s Laughter Factory tour.From January 7 to 15 Joe will perform six dates in Dubai and Abu Dhabi alongside fellow stand-ups Ben Norris and Gordon Southern.
After becoming an Edinburgh Fringe Festival favourite with shows such as Some Lycett Hot and If Joe Lycett Then You Should’ve Put A Ring On It the funnyman has become a regular fixture on British television.
Among his recent TV appearances have been Live at the Apollo 8 Out of 10 Cats Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Celebrity Juice - as well as guesting on national radio shows with the likes of Nick Grimshaw and Scott Mills.
Ben’s TV credits include They Think It’s All Over and Mock the Week. The father of triplets and the cousin of Hobbit actor Martin Freeman his improvisation skills have been praised by publications such as The Guardian and The Daily Mirror.
Gordon has performed around the world - with shows everywhere from the Falkland Islands to Kosovo - and is a former member of BBC Radio 4 sketch team The Cheese Shop alongside performers including Dave Lamb (who provides the famously sarcastic voiceover for reality TV series Come Dine With Me).
He has been an Edinburgh Fringe Festival regular since 1997 and has also appeared on The 11 O’Clock Show and Good News Week.
