Saudi- New passport office opens in Riyadh

(MENAFN- Arab News) The Passport Department has opened a new office in Riyadh to allow for the issue of residence permits and other services for citizens and expatriates.

Maj. Gen. Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya director general of the department opened the office with other officials including Brig. Gen. Sulaiman Abdulrahman Al-Sehibani Riyadh's passport office director.

During the event Al-Sehibani announced that the department's electronic services outlet in Al-Sadhan Mall has been moved to the new location.

'This move is part of the passport department's expansion plan in the capital. It will ensure that citizens and guest expatriates can get services elsewhere instead having everything at the main office' he said.

The new location is at the Ministry of Interior's electronic services center in Al-Gadeer neighborhood near the intersection of King Abdulaziz Road and Exit 5. The office would be open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

He urged the public to offer suggestions for improvement or register their complaints on the e-mail address [email protected]
