Working hours of four health centres in Abu Dhabi extended

Abu Dhabi — The Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS) a Seha facility has announced extended working hours at Madinat Khalifa Madinat Mohamed bin Zayed and Al Maqtaa Healthcare Centres in Abu Dhabi and the Mezyad Healthcare Centre in Al Ain.

With effect from January 18 2015 Madinat Khalifa Madinat Mohamed bin Zayed and Al Maqtaa Healthcare centres will offer extended operating hours on Saturdays from 7am to 10pm instead of the earlier timing of 12 noon to 8pm.

The regular working hours of these centres on weekdays will remain unchanged — from 7am to 10pm. From January 4 the Mezyad Healthcare Centre in Al Ain will become a 24/7 healthcare centre offering round-the-clock emergency care services.

The other 24/7 healthcare centres within the AHS network include Al Khatem Remah Sweihan Al Qua’a and Al Hayer Healthcare Centres.

Dr Mariam Buti Al Mazroui Acting CEO of AHS said “The decision to extend operating hours at these healthcare centres is in line with our ongoing efforts to advance the standards of services across the entire AHS network.”

“The extended timing will also offer greater flexibility and convenience in consulting hours while contributing to reducing waiting time and less congestion at these facilities” said Dr Al Mazroui.

“In our delivery of quality healthcare services across our network of centres in Abu Dhabi we seek to meet our customers’ expectations and enhance the overall patient experience” she added.
