Weekly flights between Oman, Nepal increase from 7 to 21


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between civil aviation authorities of Oman and Nepal on Monday.

The MoU amends a previous aviation agreement signed in 1997 adds two articles on air safety recognition of certificates approvals amends the name of Oman's civil aviation authority and the route tables.

As per the MoU the number of flights between two countries has increased from the current seven to 21 per week. These will be further increased to 28 per week from January 1 2016. It also opens the avenues for both sides to operate any number of cargo flights without restrictions.

The two sides agreed on the common codes that allow respective national carriers to utilise the rights provided by this MoU.
