Azeri envoy learns about the ACC work


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)  Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Jordan Sabir Aghabayov visited on Monday the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) where he discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries' panels to counter graft.

The President of the Jordanian ACC, Samih Bino, reviewed the ACC's work mechanism in prosecuting the corrupt, dealing with complaints, corruption cases referred to the ACC as well as Jordan's efforts in combating corruption and promoting national integrity.

He also assured that the ACC was keen to maximize regional and international cooperation to benefit from other countries' experiences and introduce these countries to the achievements made by the Kingdom in combating corruption.

The Azeri envoy reviewed his country's anti-corruption commission which was linked to the Ministry of Justice before becoming an independent body.

He also expressed his happiness at the growing relations between Jordan and Azerbaijan at all levels.
