Belgian jet fighters destroy ISIL-used oil refinery in Iraq


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Two Belgian F-16 fighter jets have destroyed an oil refinery which was being used to supply fuel for ISIL vehicles in western Iraq.

According to Belgian VRT news network report on Sunday, the Belgian F-16s fired four laser-guided bombs with 250 kilos of explosives at the refinery. It added that nobody was hurt in the air strike which was carried out on Thursday.

Belgium has deployed six F-16 fighter jets to the international coalition against ISIL in Iraq that are flying missions out of Jordan.
