(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The steering committee tasked with overseeing the preparation of a framework for the Kingdom's economic and social policies, dubbed the "2025 vision", held a meeting Sunday chaired by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour.
The prime minister said the aspired economic outlook of Jordan aims at strengthening the foundations of the economy, achieving stability based on production values and promoting self-reliance down to realizing comprehensive and sustainable development.
The committee instructed the sectoral committees to hold intensive meetings in the coming days to add the required amendments to the proposed framework which is being finalized now before forwarding it to His Majesty King Abdullah II at the earliest.
