Half a million performed Umrah last month
(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Half a million Umrah seekers performed the ritual since the beginning of outgoing Safar lunar month up to yesterday, it was reported here today.
Hatem bin Hasan Gadi, spokesman of the Ministry of Hajj, said Saudi consulates abroad have issued over one million Umrah visas during the same period but only half of them have reached the sacred places, while 170,000 out of them left the Kingdom.
