A fire flares up at the garage of the Saudi embassy in Tripoli, Libya, damaging three vehicles


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency)  A fire flared up at the garage of the Saudi embassy in Tripoli, Libya, last Friday, gutting three vehicles, an official source of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia said today.
In a statement, he said fire spread in the garage of the embassy, daming three parking cars but no losses of other properties or lives sustained.
Preliminary reports said that the cause of the fire was attributed to an electric default.
The source thanked the Libyan authorities for cooperation with the embassy to bring the fire down. In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sent an investigation team to join their counterpart in the Libyan authorities.
