(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) German Chancellor Angela Merkel has called on Russia
to use its influence over separatists in eastern Ukraine to stabilize
the situation there, dpa reported.
She made the remarks during a phone call with Ukrainian President
Petro Poroshenko, the German government press office said in a
statement.
A new round of peace talks tentatively planned for Friday in Minsk
was cancelled.
