Talon Petroleum to flow gas and condensate from Texas well

Talon Petroleum (ASX:TPD) has intersected 54 feet of gas condensate bearing reservoir at the initial test well for the Coolangatta Prospect in Colorado County Texas.

Completion operations are presently underway at the Eagle Lake Gas Unit-1 well with operator Aurora Resources Corporation cementing the 4.5 inch casing.

Flow testing is expected to occur in the coming weeks at which time a further update will be provided.

Talon has elected to participate in the completion of the well to maintain its 6.25% working interest. This is expected to cost US$47000.

Coolangatta is a four way dip closure in the shallow Wilcox sandstone producing fairway that was delineated by 3D seismic.
