Russia's inflation to hit 10 percent in 2015


(MENAFN) Inflation in Russia in 2015 will total some 10 percent, Russian Economic Development Minister said, QNA reported.

He said that "In 2015, inflation will be about 10%, December on December (2014)".The Russian Ministry of Economic Development has prepared a simple scenario for development of Russian economy at a price of USD40 per barrel.

He added that the country are building some simple scenario models. For example, the country have made simple calculations based on a price of USD40 per barrel.

It is inadvisable to freeze prices on socially significant goods, since it may transform inflation into a form of merchandise shortage, he confirmed.
