(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, has honoured a number of its staff who won the Excellence Messages Quiz, which measures employees 'understanding of excellence concepts and criteria', and honoured staff in the best cable jointers' category for the 2nd quarter of 2014.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, and Dr. Yousef Al Akraf, Executive Vice President of Business Support and Human Resources, honoured the staff at DEWA's headquarters, in the presence of DEWA staff.
"We follow in the footsteps of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to take care of our staff and value their efforts to raise job performance levels. This will contribute to improving government services and make people happier in our country. Today, we are glad to honour winners of the Excellence Messages Quiz, which instils the concept and culture of organisational excellence among staff. We are also glad to honour winners of the Best Cable Jointers category," said Al Tayer.
