Dubai Civil Aviation Authority honours Emarat


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM))  Dubai Civil Aviation Authority has honoured Emirates General Petroleum Corporation, Emarat, in recognition of the cooperation relations that have been maintained between the two establishments for decades.

Such cooperation is especially evident in supplying aviation fuel through the joint venture "Emoject", in which Emarat has partnered with ExxonMobil.

H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group, presented an honorary shield to Hussain Kazim, Senior Manager Corporate Communications at Emarat, in the presence of Mohammed Abdulla Ahli, Director-General of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority.

Mr. Kazim commended the ongoing cooperation relations between Emarat and Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Dubai Airports. He said that many agreements tie the two parties, the latest of which was the franchise agreement that was entered into by Emojet for Aviation Fuel and Dubai Airports. According to this agreement, Emojet would be one of the fuel suppliers to the new Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai Word Central.

He stressed that Emarat views its cooperation with Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Dubai Airports as a very important aspect of its work, and that the corporation endeavours to provide the best services in accordance with the highest international standards in aviation fuel. Emarat also pays special attention to Health and Safety criteria, seeking always to preserve the environment and to offer best quality in all its operations.
