(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Qatar Insurance Company (QIC), in collaboration with Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA), presented certificates to nine Qatari employees who completed the first course of a resourceful professional training programme, conducted by QFBA.
According to a statement, the course was designed for QIC's Qatari employees across finance, legal and retail departments.
The course from November 9 to December 21, comprised lectures, discussions and workshops to deliver pragmatic and innovative solutions with a focus on insurance. It also helped the employees to enhance their customer service delivery standards.
Weekly assessments in between helped monitor, evaluate and assess the progress of the employees, who were positive in their approach and responded well to the modules.
On completion of the programme, Ali Al Fadala, Senior Group President and CEO, QIC Group, said: "The initiative is aligned with QIC's statement of values to enhance and develop soft skills of its employees. We organised the course to strengthen and enhance communication, negotiation, selling and customer service skills of our Qatari employees.

The course also increased the employees' cognizance of insurance according to the relevance and demand of their job profiles. To acknowledge and encourage their involvement, progress and performance, certificates of participation were presented by Al Fadala in the presence of QFBA's guests.
