Kuwait Airways, Boeing finalize 10 aircrafts order


(MENAFN) Kuwait Airways announced it has finalized an order with Boeing for 10 777-300ERs, in a deal valued at USD3.3 billion, as part of the carrier's plan to renew its fleet and expand its operations, Times of Oman reported.

The carrier said that the777-300ER model is the most suitable for their plans since it is the most fuel and cost-efficient airplane in its class today with 99.5 per cent reliability, thus making it the most reliable twin-aisle aircraft in the world.

"This order marks another feather in the cap for the 777-300ER which not only continues to be an integral part of the fleet of many of the world's airlines but is also being ordered by new customers who see the value of the airplane," President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes said.
