Vietnam to collect USD40.11b for state budget in 2014


(MENAFN) According to Vietnam's Ministry of Finance (Mof), the country is estimated to collect USD40.11 billion for the state budget in 2014, Xinhua reported.

As of the third week of December, the country's state budget revenue has reached USD39.53 billion, thus accounting for 98.2 percent of the whole year's estimate.

The Vietnamese MoF said that the country, which has been struggling with tough economic conditions, will strive to reach the set target of USD43.18 billion which is set as the state budget revenue for 2015.

Vietnam also said that it increase its public spending next year to reach USD54.36 billion, which is an increase by 13.9 percent in compared to the country's spending in 2014, as well as attempting to maintain its state budget deficit less than 5 percent of its gross domestic product (GDP) in 2015.
