"North Korea not Ruled Out in Reactor Hacking Probe"

(MENAFN- QNA) South Korea's Justice Minister said the government is not ruling out the possibility that North Korea could be behind the recent cyber attacks on the nation's nuclear energy operator.
Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn made the remark at the full session of the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee as lawmakers asked him about the possibility of North Korea's role in the case.
He said that foreign Web sites are believed to have been used in the cyber attack and the government is working with related agencies to get to the bottom of the hacking.
At the committee session, Chairman Lee Un-chul of the nation's Nuclear Safety and Security Commission said the worst case scenario would be a full stop of nuclear power generation. He said the control network of the nuclear power plants are isolated from the outside internet and when there is a problem with the control network, the system is supposed to safely stop.
