Emirates Airlines to boost UK service

(MENAFN) Emirates Airline announced it is planning to boost its service to Birmingham in the United Kingdom by adding a third daily service to Birmingham Airport starting August 2015, thus becoming the first airline to offer a direct first class service to the UK region, Arabian Business reported.

The carrier said that the flight, which will be operated on a Boeing 777-300ER, will add seven more inbound flights a week to Birmingham, increasing passenger and cargo capacity on the route by 42 percent.

"This is another significant investment in the UK market and we look forward to offering further choice and excellent value for money to travelers and businesses, including the cargo community," Emirates' divisional senior vice president, Commercial Operations West said.
