Amur Minerals supplies more information to support Kun-Manie application


(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors) Amur Minerals (LON:AMC) has received a request for more information from the Russian government as part of its  production licence application at the Kun-Manie nickel deposit. 

Greater detail was requested on the company's ownership structure financing history and exploration activity at Kun-Manie as part of the review by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev's office the final approval necessary for the licence.

Amur’s exploration licence expires on 31 December but this will not affect its right to obtain the production licence as it has already established its rights under the Russian Subsoils Law it said. 

Robin Young Amur Minerals chief executive said it had responded to Russian government requests for additional detailed information which he said was typically requested at this stage of the approval process.

“We remain optimistic of a positive outcome and are grateful for the speed and professionalism of our counterparts in the Russian Government."
