GCC Secretary-General hails initiative of Saudi King on Qatar, Egypt reconciliation

(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM))  Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, GCC Secretary-General, expressed satisfaction with the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, aiming to consolidate relations between Qatar and Egypt for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples as well as the Arab and Islamic nations.

This noble initiative came in the context of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' keenness to deepen Arab solidarity in order to confront the great challenges experienced by the Arab world.

The initiative also reflects Saudi Arabia's central role in enhancing Arab-Arab relations that contribute to development in Arab countries
