Sisi begins first presidential visit to China


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM))  Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi began his first presidential visit to China Monday.

Sisi will hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping aimed at encouraging more Chinese investment in Egypt, according to Middle East News Agency (Mena).

During the visit, 25 agreements will be signed to promote cooperation in different areas, including economic cooperation, transportation, medical equipment, civil aviation, education and environment.

Furthermore, Sisi will hold talks with an array of senior Chinese officials, including Prime Minister Li Keqiang.

The president will also meet with CEOs of the 20 major Chinese companies working in tourism, agriculture, technology, infrastructure, oil and telecommunications.
