(MENAFN- QNA) HE Qatar's Ambassador to Peru Jamal bin Nasser Al Bader hosted a reception on the occasion of Qatar's National Day.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru Alberto Salas Barahona, Peru's Minister of Women and Vulnerable Populations, President of the Constitutional Court and deans and heads of neighborhoods of the capital attended the ceremony.
HE Qatar's Ambassador to Peru said that Qatar celebrates the occasion of the founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani who under his leadership and his loyal people founded the State of Qatar on a solid foundation of solidarity and strength and kept the country from greedy invaders.
He highlighted the 25 years anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Qatar and Peru.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Peruvian Foreign Ministry stressed the importance of friendly relations between the State of Qatar and Peru.
