(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Beji Caid Essibsi's campaign team Sunday claimed victory in Tunisia's presidential run-off, a claim dismissed by backers of his rival, the incumbent Moncef Marzouki, dpa reported.
The victory claim was made shortly after the end of the election, which is seen as capping Tunisia's democratic transition after the overthrow of Zine El Abidine Ben Ali in the 2011 uprising.
