(MENAFNEditorial) Rosewood Hotels and Resorts® has announced that its ultra-luxury property in Jeddah has been renamed as Rosewood Jeddah as part of the company's brand relaunch. Formerly known as Rosewood Corniche, the property has been regarded as the city's premier hotel since it opened in 2007. The hotel was recently named as the Middle East's Leading Luxury Hotel at the 2014 World Travel Awards.
The renaming of Rosewood Jeddah also sees the introduction of a new property seal. Part of the new visual identity of Rosewood, a seal has been designed for each property to portray their distinctive individuality. Seals were chosen in addition to more traditional logos to reflect the Rosewood signature style of service which is intuitive and intimate as though staying in a private home.
Since Rosewood was founded over 30 years ago, the company's core philosophy has been A Sense of Place®, whereby each property is a reflection of its location's history, culture and geography. The renaming of Rosewood Jeddah is just one of the many illustrations of this philosophy.
"Renaming the hotel as Rosewood Jeddah signifies the importance of the property to both the city of Jeddah and to Rosewood Hotels & Resorts," says Hans-Peter Leitzke, Managing Director of Rosewood Jeddah. "The new name will help to increase the awareness in Jeddah and throughout Saudi Arabia of the Rosewood brand and its collection of unique, world-class hotels."
