Egypt to reopen Rafah crossing: Official


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)   Egypt will reopen the Rafah border crossing point with the Gaza Strip during the next two days for traffic heading in both directions.

The head of the Palestinian border authority, Maher Abu Sabha, noted that Egypt will reopen the Rafah crossing starting Sunday, to allow Palestinians stranded on the border to return to their homes in the blockaded Palestinian territory.

Abu Sabha added that Sunday will be set aside to transfer seriously ill people, including those suffering from cancer, hepatitis and renal failure, as well as residents who have been stranded abroad.
