Military Warriors Support Foundation Honor a Veteran with a Special Presentation through Partnership at Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl
Las Vegas NV (Dec 20) –The Military Warriors Support Foundation (MWSF) is excited to be back at the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl. This partnership affords the opportunity to honor one of our nation’s heroes during a special on field presentation during the 2014 holiday bowl season. Former Corporal Todd Lipscomb and his family will be recognized for his service. Earlier this year the Lipscomb family received the gift of a fully renovated mortgage-free home in Fernley NV donated by Bank of America.
“The Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl is an invaluable partner to our foundation in honoring our nation’s heroes and we are excited to be able to work with them for a 2nd year.” said Ken Eakes Executive Director of the Military Warriors Support Foundation. “Royal Purple Las Vegas’s passion to support our veterans parallels our own Mission. Together we can accomplish what we can only individually dream.”
This is MWSF’s 2nd year to partner with ESPN and Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl in honoring one of our nation’s heroes and their family with this unique and life changing event. Veteran and home recipient Todd Lipscomb and family will be formally presented a ceremonial key to commemorate this special event.
Todd Lipscomb served in the US Army from 2004 until 2011. He was deployed to Iraq in 2006 and later deployed to Afghanistan in 2009. Corporal Lipscomb received an Army Commendation Medal and a Combat Action Badge for his injuries sustained while performing combat operations in Iraq. Todd is also the recipient of an Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star Iraq Campaign Medal with two Campaign stars Army Achievement Medal and Global War on Terrorism Service medal among others.
The Lipscomb family is excited to spend the holiday season in their new Fernley home.

Our Mission is to provide support for our nation’s wounded heroes and Gold Star Families as they transition out of the military and into their new civilian life.
