(MENAFN- QNA) HE Qatar's Ambassador to Nepal Ahmed Jassim Al Hamar held a reception ceremony to mark Qatar's National Day.
Nepalese Vice President Paramananda Jha attended the ceremony along with parliament speaker Subas Chandra Nembang.
Former prime ministers of Nepal Khil Raj Regmi and Baburam Bhattarai were also present alongside ministers, army and police senior officers, political party leaders, a group of parliament members, senior officials, Arab ad foreign ambassadors accredited to Nepal, a number of businessmen and media personnel, and Nepalese dignitaries.
The attendees wished Qatar and its people more progress, welfare and prosperity under the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, hailing the deep ties between the friendly countries and peoples.
The event attracted wide media presence including major official and private TV stations.
