Qatar Airways to boost Oman's Salalah service


(MENAFN) Qatar Airways announced it is planning to add four new services to Salalah, Oman's second largest city, by next February, thus bringing the number of its flights to the city to eight weekly flights, The Peninsula Qatar reported.

The airways said that effective from this week it will be offering three additional flights per week to Salalah, its second destination in Oman after the capital Muscat which is served 28 times-a-week, while another additional flight per week will be introduced in February, thus bringing QA's capacity across Oman to a total of 36 weekly services.

""We are extremely delighted to announce the increase in flights to the popular leisure destination of Salalah that has a tremendous appeal for visitors across the Gulf, Europe, the United States and other countries.Thousands of tourists already visit Salalah every year, and we look forward to contributing to help further boost leisure and business tourism while providing travellers from Oman with greater choice and more flying options," Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive said.
