Qatar's Embassy in Croatia Celebrates National Day


(MENAFN- QNA) HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Thani hosted a reception on the occasion of Qatar's National Day.
The ceremony was attended by president of the Croatian Parliament Josip Leko, Croatian deputy prime minister and minister of the interior Ranko Ostojic, deputy speaker Nenad Stazic, deputy foreign minister Josko Klisovic, deputy economy minister for energy affairs Sabina Skrtic, and vice president of the Croatian democratic union opposition party Ivan Domagoj Milosevic.
The ceremony was also attended by Croatian economic, intellectual, scientific and political figures as well as members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to Croatia and the sons of the Arab and Muslim communities in Zagreb.
In remarks during the ceremony, HE the Ambassador praised the outstanding relations between the two countries which are enhanced through mutual visits to further consolidate the ties of cooperation in all fields.
The event's guests also congratulated the State of Qatar and expressed their greetings to the government and people of Qatar on this occasion, noting the role played by the State of Qatar on the Arab, regional and international levels under the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani.
The celebration included presentation on Qatar's heritage and miniature models of Qatari ships.
