Border Guards foil to smuggle narcotics
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) he Armed Forces Spokesman, Colonel Mamdouh Ameri, on Wednesday said that border guards foiled an attempt to smuggle a large amount of drug pills, in addition to tens of thousands of different kinds of ammunitions.
Ameri added that border guards clashed with the infiltrators who had crossed into Jordan from Syria and wounded one of them.
He noted that the process to properly catalogue the contraband is underway and an announcement in this regard will be made soon.
