Enerji Limited secures loan to fund waste heat to power project pipeline

Enerji Limited (ASX:ERJ) has entered into a $500000 loan from Metamor Capital Partners to advance its pipeline of five commercial projects.

These five projects relate to sites with an estimated 64000 kWth of energy presently being leaked.

This is heat that is currently vented to atmosphere or not able to be utilised.

The heat costs a large amount of money to produce and causes harm when emitted.

Enerji proposes to recover a proportion for heat-to-power or use as process heat thereby reducing both costs and emissions.

Metamor holds security over the company’s expected $600000 research and development rebate and assets.

The loan will be repaid out of the rebate which is expected in the second quarter of 2015.

Accretive Thermal Energy Node

Enerji has been consistently developing its Accretive Thermal Energy Node (ATEN) technology within the broader heat-to-power research and development program.

In 2014 its focus has been on expanding the knowledge from a single source and type of heat to multiple sources and types of heat to be utilised in power generation.

ATEN can collect heat from a diversity of sources and simultaneously condition the heat for use in one of a range of electricity conversion technologies.
