(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Oman on Wednesday condemned the terrorist attack on a school carried out by Taliban in Peshawar in Pakistan on Tuesday resulting in the deaths of 141 children and staff.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: 'The Government of the Sultanate of Oman condemns the terrorist attack carried out by Pakistan Taliban Movement which targeted a school in Peshawar in Pakistan resulting in the deaths and injuries of many innocent teachers and children.
'The Sultanate of Oman's government affirms it stands with the government and the people of Pakistan and its support for the efforts made to combat terrorism to maintain peace and security in this friendly country and in the region as well.'
