(MENAFN- Arab Times) Director of Public Authority for Manpower Jamal Al-Dousari anno-unced that the authority will conduct a comprehensive field survey to identify the nationalities of laborers including Bedoun working in Kuwait and their jobs, and access the labor requirements in the country.
In a press statement, he indicated that the authority is coordinating with the Central System for Remedying Status of Illegal Residents (CSRSIR) to change their positions legally and provide job opportunities for them.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor has endorsed the proposed budget for fiscal 2015/2016 amounting to KD 647,420,000 and it has been submitted to the Ministry of Finance for approval, reports Al-Nahar daily quoting sources.
Sources disclosed the proposed budget is higher than the actual budget by KD 60,687,000 as the actual amounted to KD 596,733,000. Sources added the ministry is studying the proposal submitted by the Public Authority for Manpower, affirming that it will be completed before the current fiscal year ends.
In the meantime, Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor is on the verge on completing the bill on charitable works in coordination with the concerned authorities with the aim of monitoring the donations collected by charitable projects inside and outside the country to ensure that the donations reach the right beneficiaries and to ensure the legal procedures are followed, reports Al-Kuwaitiah daily quoting informed sources.
They affirmed that the implementation of such a law will contribute in enhancing the transparency of the charity sector in the country, revealing that the legal procedures include forbidding opening branches of charity organizations inside or outside the country or affiliating with any overseas charitable organizations without approval from Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
