AudioBoom signs up Sky News and LBC as content partners

Sound-broadcasting social media platform Audioboom (LON:BOOM) today revealed a plethora of new content partners including Sky News radio as well as LBC owner Global Radio Group.

In all it reported the addition of 23 new partners onto the platform and also told investors that Sky Sports News and one other existing partner had placed increased amounts of audio content.

"We continue to attract premium and household names to Audioboom through our active building of content partnerships” said chief executive Rob Proctor.

“Our wide range of content partners within both our key verticals and more niche listening areas continue to provide Audioboom app users with the best audio content in the world and we continue to provide our content partners with the best technology."

The additions unveiled today included Sky News Global Radio Group Malaysia’s Astro Radio American regional news outlet KSL easy-listening radio Magic FM UK bookie Ladbrokes (which uploads football match previews) Oxford University WASPS Rugby Club and the Pakistan Cricket Board.

As well as the media organisations and sporting institutions joining the platform the new additions also include content providers for smaller audiences such as the Wickham Festival an Australian hockey team and former Ipswich and Cardiff striker Michael Chopra.
