Indians are with Pakistan in time of terror

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Social media has been abuzz with the hashtag #IndiawithPakistan after the horrific attack.

Along with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who expressed shock over the Taleban attack at a Peshawar school that killed more than 130 people on Tuesday Indians across the world are announcing solidarity with their neighbours.

Social media has been abuzz with the hashtag #IndiawithPakistan after the horrific attack.

The hashtag was started by Indian columnist Tehseen Poonawalla and soon it was all over the social media especially Twitter.

Narendra Modi in a series of tweets said: “Strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack at a school in Peshawar. It is a senseless act of unspeakable brutality that has claimed lives of the most innocent of human beings - young children in their school. “My heart goes out to everyone who lost their loved ones today. We share their pain and offer our deepest condolences.”

Many tweets from Indians criticized the way the children were attacked by Taleban.

Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi condemned the attack in a news channel and said: "I beg the Taleban take me and leave these children."

On Monday during the Sydney siege a social media campaign in support of Muslims was started with hashtag #IllRideWithYou.
