Al Arabi Win Crown Prince Cup For Seventh Time


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Al Arabi clinched His Highness Crown Prince football Cup title for the seventh time after beating Kuwait SC 4-2 in a thrilling encounter at Kuwait Club on Monday. Al Arabi made a flying start after Ahmad Hayel scored a quick brace in the 10th and 37th minutes. Kuwait's SC were given a little hope when Ahmad Ibrahim scored an own goal in the 57th minute.


Brazilian striker Makalili equalized for Kuwait SC in the 86th minute. Both teams ended the regulation time 2 goals apiece. Al Arabi's Mohammad Jaragh broke the deadlock in 96th minute. Hussein Al-Mosawi ended Kuwait SC's hope of another comeback with Al-Arabi's 4th goal in the 123rd minute to seal the victory. His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah partonized and attended the final match. (Agencies)
