Kerry ends meeting with Netanyahu, leaves Rome


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) US Secretary of State John Kerry concluded his visit to Rome during which he held a series of meetings, the last of which was with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday over a UN draft resolution over the Palestinian State.

Kerry left Rome following his three-hour meeting with Netanyahu, held at the American Ambassador's residence, where sources from the Israeli delegation were quoted by local media as saying discussions focused over the a draft resolution to the UN Security Council aimed at setting a timetable for establishment of the Palestinian State on the June 4 1967 borders.

Kerry arrived in Rome yesterday and met with his Russian counterpart Sergei lavrov over the situation in Palestine.
