Qatar's Barwa Real Estate wins USD206m contract


(MENAFN) Qatar's Barwa Real Estate announced it has won a USD206 million contract from a government company to build and operate low cost-warehouses, Gulf Business reported.

The arrangement, which will last for 25 years, was awarded by state-owned Manateq, though no specifications were made regarding the number of warehouses Barwa will build, though it said that the construction work will end within two years.

Manateq develops and operates specialized economic zones in Qatar, with the aim of providing infrastructure to help the development of private sector business.
