Jordan, China discuss cooperation


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)  Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Mohammad Bani Yaseen discussed the latest regional developments with a delegation representing the Shanghai Institute for International Studies (SIIS).

Bani Yaseen highlighted Jordanian-Chinese relations, stressed the durability of these ties and reiterated Jordan's keenness to expand cooperation with China.

Bani Yaseen valued the Chinese stance towards Arab issues, in particular the Palestinian cause, and reviewed His Majesty King Abdullah II's efforts in shouldering the burdens of the Syrian crisis.

Both sides stressed the importance of continuing consultation and cooperation regarding different regional issues, as well as expanding cooperation at all levels.

Delegation's members praised His Majesty King Abdullah II's efforts to promote peace and stability, and also appreciated Jordan's role towards maintaining security in the region, describing it as a key factor.
