Jordan, Bahrain stand against the Jewish state: Bahrain envoy

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)  Bahrain's Ambassador to Jordan Nasser bin Rashid Al-Kaabi described the Jordanian-Bahraini relations as strategic and distinguished.

Speaking to Petra on the occasion of his country's national day, Al-Kaabi pointed out the political cooperation and the congruence of views between the two countries regarding various regional and international issues, stressing, "We will continue to consolidate relations with Jordan under the directives of both countries' leaders".

He also indicated that the two Kingdoms support the international efforts to ward off terrorism and extremism in the region and work towards ensuring stability and renouncing religious, sectarian and ethnic extremism.

Jordan and Bahrain stand against the Jewish state project and the Israeli violations against the Al-Aqsa mosque which contravene international laws, Al-Kaabi said, indicating that both Kingdoms, through diplomatic efforts, are seeking to establish the state of Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital.

Al-Kaabi highlighted the military and security cooperation, indicating that Jordan contributed towards the founding of Bahrain's Defence Force and that most of the Bahraini military leaders are graduates of Jordanian military colleges.
