Africa's tallest


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) A computer generated image of the 114-storey tower which will be built in the Moroccan city of Casablanca by Dubai-based Middle East Development LLC, owned by Saudi businessman Sheikh Tarek Binladen. The skyscraper will be 540 metres (1,782 feet) high, taller than the 223-metre Carlton Centre in Johannesburg which currently holds the title for tallest building on the African continent. The tower will cost an estimated $1bn and is due for completion in June 2018.
