Sharjah and Jordan set to strengthen MICE ties


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)  Looking at enhancing trade ties with the UAE, Jordan is exploring possibilities of strengthening its participation in trade shows being organised by Expo Centre Sharjah.

A meeting held on the sidelines of the ongoing 3rd OIC Halal Middle East Exhibition & Congress and the 2nd Kitchen Equipment & Technology Exhibition Middle East at Expo Centre Sharjah on Tuesday, officials from both sides discussed ways and means to boost the already strong trade relations between the countries.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the three-day event concluded on Wednesday. The Sharjah side was led by Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, chairman, Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, chief executive officer, Expo Centre Sharjah, while the Jordan side was represented by Nael Al Kabariti, Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, and accompanying delegation.
