Following a successful global launch for its full circle Plastic OLED, the watch is the first of its kind to harness the circular screen, utilising 100 per cent of its round display. The most eye-catching feature of the new product is its 1.3-inch full circle P-OLED display that produces stunning image clarity when viewed from any angle and even under the bright desert sun.
Harnessing a powerful 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, the G Watch R has enough fuel to power through the day and offers 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM and a durable 410mAh battery. This Android Wear device will effortlessly run all compatible apps available in the Google Play Store and with an Ingress Protection Rating of IP67, it is designed to run for up to 30 minutes in one metre of water. "Wearable technology is more than just a trend it's a movement in how technology can further blend into a person's everyday life. The G Watch R focuses on what consumers asked for in wearable technology and incorporated it in a clean and stylish package," D. Y. Kim, President LG Electronics, Gulf FZE, said at the launch event. The watch responds to any situation it's put into through voice recognition notifications. With Android Wear at its core, the G Watch R is able to provide the users with important reminders of missed calls and messages, upcoming meetings, events, and local weather forecasts.
