Netanyahu Conveys Message to Palestinian Authority to Calm Situation


(MENAFN- QNA) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu conveyed a message via his personal envoy Isaac Molcho to the Palestinian Authority, pledging to investigate the incident of the death of the Palestinian minister Ziad Abu Ein, a statement by Netanyahu's office announced.

The statement said that Netanyahu has been holding "security consultations" throughout the day and noted "the need to calm the situation and act responsibly." Ziad Abu Ein has died shortly after being hit by Israeli soldiers during a protest in the village of Turmusiya in the occupied West Bank.
