Authorities Asking For Info On HitRun That Injured Police

(MENAFNEditorial)

A hit and run accident occurred on the afternoon of Monday June 8th 2013. The accident took place in Jasper County South Carolina on Bee’s Creek Road next to Chelsea Lane.

The vehicles involved included an SUV (reportedly either grey or gold in color) along with a police vehicle that was patrolling the area.

The policeman attempted to evade a collision with the SUV and ended up striking a tree instead. While the SUV drove off without being touched the occupants of the police vehicle were left seriously injured.

The NHTA has reproted an upward trend in hit and run accidents. Leaving the scene of an accident is not only discourteous it’s against the law in most states. In this case the vehicle did not collide with each other but the driver of the SUV is thought to be at fault for the accident. The South Carolina Highway Patrol along with Crime Stoppers are currently requesting that any information on the party at fault to be reported to one of their offices which can be done anonymously.

In addition other injured victims that have been hurt in car accidents may contact the law office of Attorney Bill Green a Columbia car accident lawyer that practices across the state of South Carolina.
