Jordan, Romania discuss regional issues


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)  The Secretary General of Foreign Ministry, Mohammad Bani Yaseen, discussed Wednesday with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Romania, Carmen Burlaco, the latest developments in the region.

During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments in the Syrian crisis and its impact on Jordan, stressing the importance of finding a political solution to the crisis.

The two sides also stressed the importance of breathing life into the peace process between the Palestinians and the Israelis.

Burlaco praised the Jordanian-Romanian ties and called for boosting the trade volume between the two countries.

She also asserted her country's support to Jordan through diplomatic channels and also in the commercial fields as well as in easing the burdens being shouldered by Jordan as a result of the influx of Syrian refugees into the Kingdom.
