Saudi- Volunteers take part in Jubail projects
(MENAFN- Arab News) Jubail Volunteer Club has launched its 'Islands and Reserves Protection' program with the participation of more than 300 student volunteers. During the launch they planted a number of mangrove trees in Jubail Industrial City with a particular focus on Ras Abu Ali Island to contribute to the improvement of the marine environment.
The project coincides with the Royal Commission's 40th anniversary.
The club has organized another program entitled 'Coming Together' that is concerned with the preservation of public property through the painting of walls in Jubail Industrial city starting with the neighborhood of Al-Fardous 17 Farouk the Sixth High School the walls opposite to the school and Khalid Street Alibdaya Commercial Center a private rehabilitation center the Royal Commission's hospital in Jubail Pearl Street Al-Andalous Street the wall in front of Al-Andalous Kindergarten the Mosque Street Fayha Street and the Al-Othaim Markets.
The Royal Commission for Jubail supervises the Jubail Volunteer Club through the Department of Social Services. Its goal is to establish a club for volunteers that spreads and consolidates a volunteering culture in Jubail Industrial City and which invests in the physical energies of volunteers at the individual and institutional levels in order to develop the community.
