Boeing forecasts strong commercial jets demand in 2015

(MENAFN) Boeing forecasted a strong demand for new commercial airplanes in 2015 as aviation financing remains exceptionally liquid in a low interest-rate environment, AFP reported.

The US aerospace giant predicts market demand for new, fuel-efficient airplanes to total an approximate USD124 billion of commercial jets deliveries industry-wide next year.

Boeing forecasts financing growth would moderate over the next few years, with more than USD120 billion expected to be needed for deliveries in 2016 and USD156 billion in 2019.

Funding for Boeing deliveries in 2015 is expected to reflect the broader industry, which would be roughly balanced between cash, commercial bank debt and capital markets.
