(MENAFNEditorial) As part of RCSI Bahrain's 10th anniversary celebrations, two medical doctors from the renowned Mayo Clinic addressed staff and students at a special research event in RCSI Bahrain recently.
Dr Michael Brennan spoke about Professionalism within an Academic Medical Centre – Who Benefits and Why? And Dr Rebecca Bahn spoke about Translational Science – Reflections on a Bench-to-Bedside Journey.
Dr Michael D Brennan is Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic; consultant in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism; Medical Director, Mayo Clinic Programme in Professionalism and Ethics and former president of Mayo Clinic staff.
Dr Bahn is Professor of Medicine and Consultant in Endocrinology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. In addition, she is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland; a Mayo Foundation Clinician Investigator and serves as Director of the Mayo Clinic Women's Health Research Center.
